Tour Scheduler Pro.
Tour Scheduler Pro is a concept mobile app for tour managers — designed to make scheduling feel less like a spreadsheet and more like a daily companion. The product unifies events, stakeholders, conflicts and proposals into a single mobile surface, with deliberate light + dark themes for backstage and on-stage use.
Your week, day by day. Each event is colour-coded — travel, rehearsal, show or day off — so you can read the whole tour in one glance.
Same schedule, lighter theme. If two events clash, you’ll see a small ‘conflict detected’ note right on the day — no hunting for it.
Add a new gig in a few taps — name, date, venue, time zone. Then pick who to notify for approval.
Everything you need in one place — your team, the events that clash, and a one-tap button to propose a new event.
How I worked through it.
Designed the day-by-day spine
Every day is a card — date header, event blocks inside, colour-coded types and status pills. The user’s nervous system reads the week in one glance.
Designed the proposal flow
Propose New Event is the most common write action, so it gets a full-width primary button on the home screen. The form asks only what’s needed — title, dates, venue, time zone, stakeholders to notify.
The outcome.
A schedule that explains itself — colour-coded event types, status pills, conflict inline, and a primary CTA that puts the most common action (Propose Event) one tap away.
